For other than dog or cats there's very limited selection, overpriced broken, open or defective items are knowingly left on selves. This store has rapidly gone down hill since opening. Current staff appears to have little to no knowledge on safely capturing birds reptiles or fish and even less knowledge on their care.
Extremely friendly staff, good orices, and my doggies always get treats when they're there!
This place is great. The staff is always very helpful. We come often to play with the ferrets and they are very giving of their time. They have all kinds of supplies that we buy from them at a decent price.
Went to buy Macaw food and it was expired as of 1 year ago. Had live bugs all inside of it. This place used to be nice but is now an awful, dirty, mess of a place to shop. Going to start buying at Pet smart again
We had bought a bearded dragon at petsmart and bought all food and supplies from petco in Amelia. We went there because my beardie wasnt eating like he normally does and they suggested we feed it medium superworms. Given it was still a baby and they told us to feed it 5 of them maybe more. We did the next morning we wake up and the beardie is extremely weak and ill. Not to much later it died. I took it back to petsmart and they said I should have never gave it superworms being that little only baby crickets and veggies. So I can petco and they say that is what They always feed them and that they can't do anything. My daughter lost her beardie she has grown attached to. Not acceptable and petco can't do anything about it. I would not buy or shop here at all.
